Recovery Rope
Description
Powerful 55,000 lbs Breaking Strength
Built with premium Nylon 66 fibers, this kinetic recovery rope delivers an impressive 55,000 lbs minimum breaking strength and a 17,500 lbs working load limit, providing reliable recovery performance for SUVs, trucks, Jeeps, and off-road vehicles.
Kinetic Energy Recovery System
Unlike traditional tow straps, the rope stretches up to 30% under load, storing kinetic energy that helps generate a smoother and more effective vehicle recovery while reducing shock impact on recovery points and vehicle components.
Premium 100% Nylon 66 Construction
Made from high-strength double-braided Nylon 66, this recovery rope offers superior elasticity, abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and long-lasting durability for demanding off-road environments.
Includes 2 Heavy-Duty Soft Shackles
The kit comes complete with two high-strength soft shackles, providing safer and lighter connections compared to traditional metal shackles while eliminating the risk of rust and dangerous recoil.
Ready for Any Terrain
Whether you're stuck in mud, sand, snow, or rocky trails, this 30-foot recovery rope provides the flexibility and strength needed for fast and efficient off-road recovery adventures.

Recovery Rope Safety Guide
Practical usage guidance for safe towing and vehicle recovery in everyday and off-road situations.
Important Safety Reminder
Always attach the recovery rope only to manufacturer-rated recovery points or tow hooks. Avoid using bumpers, suspension parts, or any non-rated structures. Proper setup helps ensure a safer and more controlled recovery process.
1. Choosing the Right Recovery Rope
Load Capacity Guidance
- Match rope rating with or above the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
- For mud, sand, or snow recovery, use a rope rated at 1.5–2× vehicle weight.
- Avoid combining multiple ropes to increase capacity.
Pre-Use Inspection
- Check for cuts, abrasion, fraying, or UV damage.
- Inspect shackles and hooks for cracks or deformation.
- Confirm recovery points are securely installed.
2. Safety Distance Guidelines
Keep all people outside a safe perimeter of at least 1.5× the rope length.
Example: A 10m rope requires a minimum 15m safety distance.
Avoid standing in:
- The direct line between vehicles
- The rope tension path
- Close proximity during active recovery
3. Recovery Dampener Usage
A recovery dampener helps improve safety by reducing recoil and increasing visibility during towing operations.
- Place at the midpoint of the rope.
- Use additional dampeners for longer ropes if needed.
- Recommended weight: 1.5kg+ for towing, 3kg+ for kinetic recovery.
4. Standard Towing Process
- Secure the area and turn on hazard lights.
- Connect only to rated recovery points.
- Install the dampener at the rope center.
- Slowly take up slack before applying force.
- Tow at low speed (recommended ≤ 30 km/h).
- Maintain steady tension during movement.
- Inspect equipment after use.
5. Kinetic Recovery Guidelines
Kinetic recovery should only be used when standard towing is not sufficient. It requires careful control and proper equipment.
- Ensure both vehicles have rated recovery points.
- Inspect rope condition before use.
- Use a 3kg+ dampener.
- Keep all bystanders outside the safety zone.
- Run-up distance should not exceed 60% of rope length.
- Apply smooth acceleration without impact force.
6. Best Practices & Avoidance
- Do not exceed rope rated capacity.
- Do not attach to non-rated vehicle parts.
- Avoid side-angle or vertical pulls.
- Do not use damaged or knotted ropes.
- Keep tension controlled and avoid sudden force.
- Do not stand in the rope’s line of tension.
- Do not perform high-speed impact pulls.
Following these guidelines helps ensure a safer, smoother, and more reliable recovery experience. Always use properly rated equipment and adjust methods based on terrain and vehicle conditions.
