Precautions Before Installation
Pre-Installation: Vehicle Compatibility Check
- Ensure your vehicle's dynamic load capacity exceeds the combined weight of the tent and occupants.
- Verify your roof rack/crossbars are in good condition and rated for the load.
Safe Installation
- Carefully read the installation PDF guide or watch the setup video before starting.
- Use a torque wrench to fasten all bolts to the specified tightness.
- After installation, check that the tent sits level on the roof and all locking mechanisms are fully engaged.
Daily Use & Maintenance
- Always ensure the tent is thoroughly dry before packing it away.
- Perform regular inspections before trips: check bolt tightness, and examine fabric and seams for wear.
- Clean the fabric and shell according to instructions; avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- In winter, promptly remove snow accumulation to prevent overloading the structure.
